Dr. Murphy was born and raised in Chile. He attended the Universidad de Antofagasta, where he obtained his DDS. After practicing for several years in Chile, he moved to the United States to pursue advanced training. He completed a two-year AEGD program and a one-year GPR program at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, University of Rochester, New York. During that period, he also earned a Master of Science degree from the Warner School of Education at the University of Rochester.

Following his postgraduate training, Dr. Murphy worked for four years in private practice in upstate New York before relocating with his family to San Francisco. There, he completed his Endodontics residency program at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, and obtained a Master of Science in Dentistry.

Now, Dr. Murphy and his family are returning to Rochester, New York, where he looks forward to continuing his professional career and serving the community.
